Vacancy announcement for Welfare officer

We are looking one female Welfare officer for our 100 % oriented Cap manufacturing Cap Company as follows details:

Job Description / Responsibility

•Daily floor visit to check house keeping and compliance
•Make workers aware about Health, Hygiene and Safety issues
•To execute orientation and training program for the workers
•Handle grievance procedures properly
•To provide documentation and support for the recruitment process of the
workers
•Regular counseling of workers
•Maintaining various logs and registers
•Organize and conduct training for workers
•Organize welfare committee meetings, preparing minutes and circulating
•Conducting different kinds of surveys
•Ensuring proper both way flow of communication between workers and management
•Help ensure balance between company owner and worker’s wants
•Make meeting minutes and help make different kinds of reports
Educational Requirements
•Masters Degree / Bachelors degree from any reported university.


Experience Requirements:

•1 to 2 year(s)
•The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Compensation /Benefits, Attendance, Leave Management, Legal Compliance /Code of
Conduct, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development.

•The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments (Cap factory / Woven / Knitting )


Additional Job Requirements:

•Age 19 to 30 year(s)
•Some knowledge about social and technical compliance requirements of garments
manufacturing units
•Moderate knowledge of laws related to labour, occupational safety and environmental and health codes.
•How to psychologically motivate people
•How to counsel people
•High energy level needed to walk about the factory floors extensively
•Sharp observation power to spot compliance lapses
•Good ability to speak in a motivating manner
•Good negotiation skills
•Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Bangla
•Need to be a cheerful and positive minded person


Salary Range:

•Negotiable
